This Black and White Beauty is from, what we call our “Quickie Quilt” Range.
It is actually panelled fabric made up into a stunning throw quilt. Easily done in a day!

It’s been a MAD rush here organising 2010’s Quilt Aid quilt!
We have designed our finishing block, stitched all designer blocks and put our creation together!
After hectic days and long nights…. it’s finally complete. Now we’re just waiting for it’s return from the quilters!
 Unfortunately we are not able to show you yet we have to wait until the release date…

Our aim is to distribute crib-sized quilts to neo-natal units to show we care… with the vision that they will become treasured keepsakes for the families of each tiny babe who faces the battle for survival.

Now is the time to get thinking about those
NATIONAL QUILT CHALLENGE quilts!
The time is drawing closer so get those thinking caps on!
These quilts have NO SPECIFICATIONS except that the size is t be 50cm x 70cm - everything else is up to you!

Quilts must be temporarily labeled with the name and contact details of the entrant,
category and acknowledgement of design origin.
ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY
                                    1st September 2010                                       
BY MAIL OR PERSONALLY
DELIVERED TO THE QUILTERS ANGEL
The Quilters Angel will take no responsibility for the safe arrival of each quilt.

QUILT SPECIFICATIONS AND
TERMS OF ENTRY
Each quilt must measure 50cm x 70cm finished.
No restrictions on techniques or fabrics used. Entries will be judged in three different categories:

(1) MACHINE PIECED QUILTS     
(2) APPLIQUE QUILTS     
 (3) OTHER QUILTS (Stitchery etc)
(Those which include other techniques or combinations)

Every single quilt, no matter how simple, is valued by its beautiful little recipients and their families.
Also, each tiny quilt has a chance to win fabulous prizes donated by THE QUILTERS ANGEL and XLN FABRICS.

To all our fantastic blog followers…..

…. We are SOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry for the long time between posts this month - it has been absolutely CRAZY!

After recovering from our first “Girst Stitch In”, we felt such a boost that we HAD to do something! Oh wait - let’s change our WHOLE work room around!!!
Yes, we have completely re-done our work room/office/store room!!

It has been a long time coming, and with the strange ’burst of energy’ we had after the ‘Girls Stitch In’
(mind you, this burst did not come to all, but they were still made act as if it had!!!!)
we added shelving to the workroom walls,
creating a less cluttered storage area,
and transformed our old store room into our fantastic new office!

We been sorting, tidying, chucking, selling lots and lots of things so now our work room (and minds) are free to CREATE!

It really has got our creative juices flowing……. we just want to SEW!!!!

While we are busy getting new samples out (in our VERY organised work room!!!!),
